Driftwood Plantation is pleased to have received the following honors in 2003:
2003 Sire of the year ............Highland Farm Otto

Otto was a frequent show champion in the years 1998-99. He has sired many champion steers. Most recently he sired the champion bull at the 2003 World Beef Expo and 2003 senior champion bull at the National Belted Galloway Show.
2003 Breeder of the Year...................Driftwood Plantation
Driftwood Plantation, SC stretches out its mixture of pastureland, pinewoods, and wildlife areas along the salt marsh inside the barrier islands of the South Carolina low country, a few miles up the coast from Charleston. Thomas E. and Sue Drew have been breeding Belted Galloways since 1993. The cowherd consists of approximately 65 brood cows, which calve primarlily in the fall months. Their main goal is to produce sound, productive females. Driftwood Plantation earns this honor of breeding animals shown or bred by Driftwood throughout the show circuit.
